- Dr Michael Rozak is fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management from Emory University He specializes in minimally invasive interventional spine and musculoskeletal procedures diagnostic ultrasound radiofrequency ablations spinal and peripheral neuromodulation vertebral augmentation electrodiagnostics sports related injuries and orthobiologics treatments that involve using a patient s own cells and growth factors to stimulate natural healing of an injury Prior to his fellowship he completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University where he served as chief resident and was awarded resident of the year Preceding residency he fulfilled his internship in Baltimore Maryland at MedStar Harbor Hospital where he won resident teacher of the year Dr Rozak completed medical school at the University of Maryland where he was class vice president and founded the sports medicine interest group He completed his undergraduate degrees at the University of Maryland While at Maryland Dr Rozak was captain of the varsity baseball team and brings a unique understanding of sports related injuries to his patients He is published in multiple scientific publications including the Journal of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery International Orthopaedics Rehab in Review and others and has also won multiple national podium research awards Dr Rozak is a member of the Spine Intervention Society the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation the North American Spine Society the American Academy of Physiatrists the American Medical Association the North American Neuromodulation Society the Orthobiologic Institute and the Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation
