I had an eye medical emergency I found her to be thorough, gentle, kind, informative and professional. What happened was when working outside, at 4:30 PM I turned and a palm needle stuck me in the eye. My eye hurt, and vision was very blurry. I did not have an eye Doctor in Fla. I went on line and typed Eye emergency and found Dr. Sloan. Called and they said come right in. When I arrived they immediately took me. She did an exam and found a splinter stuck right in my cornera. AHHH! She explained what she was going to do, and that I should not worry, that in a few days it should be healed. It was painless, went home with a patch and was told to be back at 8:15 in the am. She WROTE down instructions for me to follow the next few days. I was so impressed with Dr. Sloan and everything she did for me. Thank goodness I found her. She saved my sight!! The office is spotless. Her staff is friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Sloan.
