Care Philosophy

I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal, grow, experience more daily joy, and achieve long-lasting positive change. I use an eclectic approach to help my Pt's understand they can use both positive and negative emotions to inform health decisions.
We can all get swept away by intense emotions and become overwhelmed by them. Acting impulsively or feeling stuck can create the belief that healing is out of reach. My work integrates traditional psychotherapy with skills that promote increased effectiveness in our relationships, careers, and motivation for positive change. Decreased distress works when we grow our toolbox of insight and skills to be more flexible and adaptive to life's changes.
