Care Philosophy

  • I approach therapy from a collaborative and compassionate perspective, always honoring the courage it takes to share your struggles. Together we will solve problems, confront conflicts, and make affirming choices that lead to a healthier lifestyle. I primarily use scientific approaches including CBT & DBT for symptom management, and integrate relational and insight-oriented approaches for awareness into how your history may influence patterns that keep you from living a meaningful life. I also take an active approach to couples counseling, teaching couples how to rebuild intimacy, improve conflict management and communication, and create patterns that result in having a happy, healthy relationship.
