They have such a great team of people to work with you though, and they are always up on the most cutting edge treatments (and potentially clinical trials, if you're into the whole medical guinea pig thing). Not only do you get an endocrinologist (diabetes doc), but also a nurse practioner/educator to see between your endo visits. I find them great especially at strategizing on the practical aspects of diabetes care. Greater Chicago functional health also has great nutritionists, psycholog
