About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr. Patrick Lyo has been serving the Queens and Elmhurst communities since 2016. His passion has always been using his skills and dedication towards pain relief to return patients back to their normal lifestyles. He received his baccalaureate degree in Health Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013 from Stony Brook University In New York State. Dr. Lyo has been practicing in various locations (primarily outpatient physical therapy) and decided to settle down in Queens, NYC. His passion for physical therapy began when he ran track and field in high school. He would often sustain injuries and could not find solutions to ease his musculoskeletal pain. It was from this point, he realized that physical therapy is a field that a lot of people can benefit from. He has treated several patients with various types of diagnoses from typical work injuries, aging conditions, neurological disorders, chronic conditions, and athletic injuries. Dr. Lyo is a NY State-licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and his primary goal is to improve pain, stiffness, range-of-motion, and strength through exercises and manual therapy.
