I moved to Georgia in March 2021. It took me a while to find a therapist. I found Maurisa from my insurance's website and so glad I did. Since day one, she has had such a positive impact on my life. She wanted to know about me and my life the first day, so that she could get a good understanding of what was going on. She really listened and seem to "know" me right away. Because of that, she has helped me tremendously, with homework, advice, suggestions, etc. Probably the biggest thing that has been life-changing is that she recommended EMDR therapy because all of the trauma I've experienced. I went to the same psychologist in Miami for 15 years and only did talk therapy-she never discussed the fact that I had all of this trauma. It was kind of sad to realize this, but I'm not crying over spilt milk. I'm here now working on myself. With all of the work I've done and improvements that have been made with Maurisa, I'm pretty sure I won't need another 15 years. I highly recommend her.
