We have been taking our children Lori for 2-3 years and have loved her help, and both of our boys love her too. She is able to get breakthroughs with them that we struggle because of her relationship with them. She has been an excellent resource as we have navigated two special needs boys and has helped us find the right combination of resources and strategies to get them to a much better place.
I primarily use a collaborative, strength-based approach to therapy. I believe that the majority of people have an internal desire and wisdom that directs them toward healing and changing for the better. Similar to our bodies, the brain naturally knows how to heal given the right conditions. I see my role as a therapist is to help people tap into the resiliency of the human spirit. I love my work and find satisfaction in watching people change and grow for the better. I believe that you can achieve the life and satisfaction that you are looking for. I also regularly conduct (and welcome!) therapy with other therapists.
