Care Philosophy

  • Dr. James is first a naturopathic physician, and second a specialist in oncology. She provides integrative medicine consultations regarding whole foods nutrition, botanical medicine, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle modifications to attain optimum health during cancer treatment and after.  She believes that patients with cancer can utilize natural therapies to prevent side effects of treatment and enhance treatment's efficacy. Post-active treatment she will explore what she calls the "biochemical terrain" of the body to find metabolic targets that can help in the fight against cancer. Integrative medicine can promote thriving, not just surviving!
