About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr. Joseph Doo Chul Choi was trained in Tianjin University for his bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and both his master and doctoral degrees in Acupuncture. His career path started in 2001 in China, and has begun in the U.S. since 2015. He got solid theoretical and experimental knowledge in school. His research focus specifically on the recovery of motor function and neuropathic pain by acupuncture. After that, he worked several years in New York to get abundant experiences. Dr. Choi is now servicing in two of our offices, one in financial district in Manhattan and the other in Brooklyn 8th Avenue. He is always proud that he can take good care of the community residents. Dr. Choi combines Chinese medicine well with professional acupuncture skills and other kinds of treatments to help patients' problems. He is good at solving digestive, endocrine, and gynecological diseases, other than that, he can give out proper diagnoses and treatments with any other problems. Dr. Choi is not only well-trained but also considerate, his patients believe in him. They always give out positive feedback and compliments to Dr. Choi.
