I am a Vietnam vet with certain issues including Parkinsons disease from the war. I am considered 100%disabled by the VA. I went to Dr John Barret for acupuncture treatments and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, very patient and thorough, and very attentive to me. I never felt rushed. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Dr. Barrett prides himself on providing a most comprehensive level of care. Having studied both Eastern and Western Medicine, he is dedicated to examining all aspects of your health and explaining your condition thoroughly in terms of each form of medicine. Dr. Barrett's care includes self-care instructions, therapeutic exercises, and diet and nutrition advice. Dr. Barrett can order blood tests and images. In addition to treating diagnosed health conditions, Dr. Barrett can put you on a personalized wellness track. Your wellness track will start with a consultation and exam where goals are set such as improved digestion, sleep, relaxation, skin, vision, weight-loss etc. After goals are set self-care instructions including diet and stress management will be prescribed along with a personalized herbal formula. You will then be set up with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly appointments when your progress will be evaluated along with your herbal formula and care instructions.
