Joel is one of the best therapists I've worked with, and sadly, I've had a lot of experience. His approach is non-threatening, non-judgmental and compassion based. When he gives 'homework', it is not to dredge up anxiety issues (which can be almost constant in my case), but to give tools to fight the fears with logic and kindness to oneself, to keep focused on fighting one's demons. If my insurance would cover him, I'd have followed when he started his own practice. He is an angel to me!
