About Me

Care Philosophy

  • Jenny believes in the power of positive relationships and works to establish trust and rapport with each client. Jenny uses an integrative approach and utilizes interventions dependent on the individual's needs. When working with adults, she utilizes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. For older children and adolescents, she uses a combination of play therapy and CBT. For younger children, she uses child-centered play therapy which allows clients to express themselves without having to be able to verbalize their thoughts and feelings.  Jenny enjoys integrating mindfulness techniques with clients of all ages.
