I found Gary while I was in graduate school to become a clinical mental health counselor. As a part of our program we were required to reach a specific number of therapy hours. I was very discerning in who I wanted to work with and after seeing several therapists in that process, no one was more professional, helpful, attentive, and down right sage-like than Gary. I only wish I had known him earlier. Since then, Gary has been my hands down go to person throughout my professional career. To address the negative review (I’m doing this on my own accord), being a therapist and working with a clinical population is very hard. It’s important to remember your therapist is not your friend; they’re there to help you get better. Sometimes we have to terminate a therapeutic relationship for a number of reasons which can be hard for a patient not knowing why. I can’t speak to that situation but I can say that out of my entire network of therapists, Gary is a true professional and class act.
