Elizabeth Karlinski is the most compassionate therapist I've ever met. She is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, caring and patient. Her treatment plan for me was unique, it focused on a holistic approach rather than the traditional route that I've been accustomed to with other therapists. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Karlinski, and her practice Red Bank Family Therapy.

About Me

Care Philosophy

  • Life presents us with many challenges and sometimes we need help to navigate our way through them. I believe that true courage lies in our ability to ask for help. I also believe in the power of connection. We all need and thrive in healthy and fulfilling relationships. My therapeutic goal is to create the safe environment necessary for my clients to face the challenges that threaten their relationships, well-being and quality of life.

    My experience includes working with diverse individuals, couples and families struggling with relationship issues, substance abuse, mental health disorders and trauma of all kinds.

    My approach to therapy is influenced by Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), and mindfulness-based approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective, evidence-based form of psychotherapy.
