My 16 y/o son saw Dr. Liao for an infected ingrown toenail. He had had the same condition on the other foot in the past, and while the previous podiatrist did fix the problem, that doc's bedside manner left a lot to be desired. Because of the earlier experience, my son had significant anxiety about getting more treatment. We chose Dr. Liao somewhat at random (he had a convenient location), but we lucked out!! Dr. Liao was gentle, friendly and humorous as he graciously interacted with my son to alleviate his anxiety. The procedure was the same in both cases, but the experience was SO MUCH BETTER with Dr. Liao!
