| I believe very strongly in personalized medicine. There are two aspects to personalized medicine - one would be precision medicine, where modern molecular geonomic techniques can be used to tailor a specific treatment for the patient. The other aspect is not only am I treating the tumor, but I'm actually treating the whole person. So I would like to know what you do, what your values are, and what you are most interested in because sometimes in some locations there are instances where you have to make some trade-offs between side effects and effectiveness of treatment. So I want to talk through a range of options available to my patients so we can talk through the best options together. |
