He serves as the Director of Stroke and Neurocritical Care at the Valley Baptist Brain and Spine Network in the Valley Baptist Medical Center Harlingen, a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Dr Tekle received his medical degree from Addis Ababa University Faculty of Medicine in Ethiopia. He completed his Residency in Neurology at the George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
