My dad had been seen by another orthopedic doctor who seemed pretty much dismissive of my dad's painful and difficulty in walking due to his age of 90 and bilateral knee osteoarthritis. He was given 2 cortisone injections over 2 visits by the first doctor, both painful, that didn't help.
