How likely are you to recommend Dr. Uhl?
Don't get cancer like me, but if you do, the best thing that can happen to you is to meet Dr. Valery Uhl and have her do your radiation treatment if needed. When I interviewed radiation oncologists one told me that the radiation would hit my heart because of the location of my tumor in my left breast below the crease at the sternum near the aorta. When that MD said that I replied "NO YOU WON'T" and left. Luckily, a friend who had avoided radiation after her breast surgery and had a relapse and then got treatment by Dr. Uhl, insisted I meet Dr. Uhl and let her do mine. I am so grateful! Dr. Uhl is an incredible person plus being the tops in her field. She said that she would not hit my heart because she teaches a special breathing technique for left breast cancer. She never hit my heart with radiation but touched my heart with her heart and soul. Now I'm facing a DCIS after 9 years out. Dr. Uhl is about to save my life again with the help of a skilled surgeon. I am indeed blessed.
