My wife Renae was two years symptomatic with ALS and was having serious breathing and other problems when we flew her in to Providence Hospital in Anchorage. Dr McVeigh came to our aid immediately and frequently cared for Renae and I over her 5 day stay. I have to say that Dr McVeigh's caring, compassion, professional and personal manner was nothing but stellar. I'm not sure I'd have made it through the whole ordeal as well as I did without she and the wonderful staff at Provdence.
