Dr. Yao saved my life from massive double brain aneurysms just 30 days after losing my mother to a ruptured brain aneurysm; a condition that also took my maternal grandmother 50 years prior. After seeing several YouTube videos regarding Dr. Yao’s use of stents to repair aneurysms, I canceled my appointment with my local hospital (which only offered coiling and open cranial surgery) and drove 3 hours to Louisville. Turns out my local hospital missed the diagnosis of a second aneurysm! Both were deemed impossible to coil. It took 4 stents to block the necks of my aneurysms, a procedure that was performed via the femoral artery. Had I been local, I would have went home the same day instead of the following day. In less than a year, BOTH aneurysms were COMPLETELY GONE!!!! Dr. Yao just checked everything 7 years post surgery and I’m still clear. He stressed the importance of our daughter being tested regularly also. He’s the kindest most informed doctor I’ve ever known! A BLESSING!
