Patient Reviews

I have a very rare kind of knee injury. He told me all my options and recommended surgery as the best option and said that’s what he would tell one of his kids if they were in this position. I decided to go with surgery. He patiently answered all my questions and gave me advice that most people wouldn’t care to say but he cares about the details. Although he had never done that exact procedure because no one really does, and he had a foot injury at the time that he did my surgery so he must have been in pain, he did a great job. After surgery while I was in pain in the hospital he explained everything very well to my caregiver and showed pictures. He personally put me in a custom kind of cast to make sure that I heal correctly. I just had a checkup 2 weeks after surgery and his PA said it was healing great and Dr. Hannula came in to confirm that. He is kind and very good at what he does. I’m grateful that I was set up with him and I appreciate him very much

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
