Patient Reviews
Sep 26, 2023
Dr. Shenkenber has been my oncologist for five years. I am a surviving brain cancer patient. While I had my surgery at Houston Methodist and proton radiation at MD Anderson, I returned home for chemo. I had done my own research and prayed and felt a certain chemo regimen would be best; before I could tell Dr. Shenkenberg, he suggested the same plan. I knew at that moment that he would be my physician. Dr. Shenkenberg wants his patients to feel cared for, does all he can to keep us thinking positively in the battle, and has a stellar team of chemo nurses, radiologists, nurses, and the front desk. The billing people are just as compassionate as he is. He is an 'angel' to the Rio Grande Valley. And I am just one of hundreds of patients who feel that way, as evident by all the angel figurines patients and families have gifted him on display in his clinic. He has helped me in more ways than one. I am forever grateful for him and proud to know him as my doctor.
