Each appointment is addressed with thoroughness, compassion, and understanding of the interrelatedness of additional surgeries, injuries, falls, and symptoms based on my accident in January 2008. We were rear-ended between 50 and 60 mph in a life-transforming event, taking away so many essential elements in my life and my children's lives. My initial injuries were very complex and falls related to my auto injuries make my case read like "War and Peace." I've had four spinal fusions, with the most complex done on my thoracic spine. Additionally, I had too many procedures on my spine to remember, multiple hospitalizations have complicated my injuries, and Dr. Best has helped me through all of this with the skills of a well-known QB leading me to many more wins than losses. This is another of Dr. Best skills of understanding and leading the offense while also supporting me in minimizing the effects of the defenses. Another element separating Dr. Best is his ethical behavior.
