About Me

Care Philosophy
  • I see cancer patients with heart disease - so cancer patients who have gone through chemotherapy and radiation therapy and as a result of their therapy have developed heart disease, or if we expect that these patients are going to develop heart disease based on the fact that they have risk factors or they already have baseline heart disease. I'm very visual. So I tend to draw the heart and explain to my patients exactly what is going on with them. And I tell them exactly how we're going to tackle it and how the different medications - or whatever else we plan to do - is gonna make a difference with them. This is an excellent field. I really love what I do. I think the main thing about the field is the fact that these patients are so sick, and it's so good to see them eventually -when their cancer gets treated, whatever heart disease they have gets treated and they're feeling better and they're doing better. It's really very rewarding.
