Care Philosophy

I am family medicine trained and my passion for diabetes management has inspired me to specialize in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes diagnosing and treatment. If you have risk factors for diabetes, I recommend screening regularly. If you have uncontrolled diabetes, I can help you achieve optimal control. If you are interested in optimizing the right medications in the vast array of choices available I keep up with the latest research. Wherever you seek treatment for your diabetes, please remember that the various complications associated with diabetes are very much avoidable.

I stress preventative care and overall risk reduction for chronic medical conditions.

I respect patients wishes regarding medical decision making, encourage healthy diet, regular exercise or activity, smoking cessation when patients are ready and attempt to provide patients with up to date medical advice. My goal is to work with patients to optimize health to improve both quality and quantity of life.
