I visit Dr. Portzline in his private practice, not in the hospital where he also works. Dr. Portzline genuinely cares about his patients--he is incredibly kind and sympathetic, and will take your call at any time (including 2am, from personal experience). His rates are very reasonable (though sadly he doesn't take insurance), and he is also basically a walking encyclopedia of pharmacological knowledge (which, unfortunately, not all psychiatrists are). You will not go wrong with Dr. Portzline.
