I was asked if it was okay for the residents to learn with my case. Dr. Scherer was explaining everything about what was going on with me and I saw genuine respect for him. He was like a professor doctor. Then they left and he took care of me. It is good to see he is teaching the younger doctors. I imagine he has a lot of experience. Best of all, I was treated terrifically and surgery went great.
