Patient Reviews
Mar 22, 2022
Dr. Tom Smith has replaced both my left hip and my right knee. The hip was done almost 5 years ago. I was walking the next day and back to myself very quickly. When I went to see Dr. Smith the first time, I was very nervous. My hip was bone on bone and I was using a cane. He has the very best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever gone to. That is very important to me so that I feel comfortable and reassured. The surgery went smooth and I was so impressed with how quickly I healed. Unfortunately, I was also having trouble with my knees, specifically my right. We decided on a brace to start (since it also needed replacement eventually). I wore it faithfully every day and lived a normal life. I decided recently it was time to do the surgery and Dr. Smith performed a total replacement on that knee in November. I was again so impressed as was he when he saw me at the 3 week visit. I could bend my knee almost the same as the left. I was using stairs soon afterward. Love him!!
