I have trouble with carpal tunnel with both hands. Dr. Barbour thoroughly explains various choices I can choose from for him to relieve the pain and numbness. Depending on the extent of damage to the nerves, he may advice shots that will help for some time. When the shots are needed more frequent with less time for each round, he may then suggest surgery. He only suggest it, because if the wait is too long, then more permanent damage will occur that can be irreversible. Once surgery is agreed, Dr. Barbour will go the extra mile and have his team to check out the possible co-pay with the patient's insurance company. They check the cost in the hospital vs in the office. Dr. Barbour knows his profession well. I recommend him highly. If you need an Orthopedic Doctor, look no further. You'll be highly satisfied.
