I unfortunately contracted MRSA in the bone during a surgery at a different hospital. Went to UCI and they saved my arm but had to continue following up with infectious disease because the MRSA has a 50% chance of returning. Dr. Cesario has been treating me since. He takes his time (not a clock watcher) and is extremely knowledgeable. He also got me through a terrible case of Covid and would call and check in on me. A very caring and compassionate doctor, the kind you don’t see very often.
