Dr. Soroko was my Infectious Disease Specialist for many yrs, though sepsis, cellulitis, and IGG deficieny. I left her practice ONLY because I had to move to rural Iowa. She was always concerned, focused, caring, and quite literally saved my life. I would still be her patient if I had not moved. Now, I have a one and a half hour drive to find an Inf Dis specialist. The closest hospital was recently downgraded to a rural health center, and funds for that continue to decrease. I miss Dr. Soroko intensely. She invariably, truly, listened to me, which is a rare thing to find. I had many infectious issues over the years, and she was always there for me. That dedication and continuing concern is hard to find, and I really miss having that available.
