Dr. Moore was our daughter's rheumatologist for approximately 8 years - when she went into remission. He was always "matter of fact", professional and caring. He was the third pediatric rheumatologist we saw. The first, a big name, wanted to shoehorn her into experimental treatments. We got a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic that confirmed our suspicions about the local guy. Dr. Moore proved to be a savior - almost immediately she responded to treatments. A great person.

About Me
Care Philosophy
- Dr. Terry Moore cares for adult and pediatric rheumatology patients, treating conditions such as lupus, juvenile arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue diseases, febrile syndromes, and vasculitis. Dr. Moore and his staff have expertise in the use of all biologics and immunosuppressive medications in autoimmune diseases. He is interested in research into regulatory T cells in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and biomarkers in juvenile arthritis. Dr. Moore is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He serves as the director of Adult and Pediatric Rheumatology. Dr. Moore is a Master of the American College of Rheumatology, and a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He serves on the board of the Arthritis Foundation. When not teaching or caring for patients, Dr. Moore coaches select girls&rsquo soccer and softball teams.
