I saw Dr. Wellens after more than 9 months of worsening foot pain. In the previous months I had a negative MRI and Bone Scan. Was told it is arthritis. The pain kept increasing to day and night. Did not matter if I was standing or laying down. I went for a second opinion and Dr. Wellens diagnosed my tendon tear immediately under Ultrasound. She recommended a stem cell injection versus surgery. I proceeded with the injection. It was life changing. I am 95% better at 4 weeks out. Still healing, but I have confidence my outcome will be 100%. I highly recommend Dr. Wellens, she is caring about you, the patient. You will not be disappointed.
