A week ago, I hobbled into the Chelsea ER in considerable pain. In a little over an hour, after a consult with Dr. Demeester, an x-ray, showing I had a compression fracture of the spine, aftercare instructions from Dr. Demeester, and an appointment with an orthopedic doctor the next morning, I left the ER with extreme confidence in the care I'd just received. Hope I don't have to return to the ER but if I do, I hope to see Dr. Demeester, and experience her warm, friendly, and competent demeanor.
