I have had constant sinus infections for years. My doctor & allergy clinic have prescribed antibiotics & steroids every 3 months. I decided to take a fresh approach and found Dr. Sumit Bhutani who gave me the full battery of sensitivity tests. To my surprise, he found that I was not allergic to ANYTHING but my sinuses were hypersensitive and reactive to EVERYTHING (cold air, dust, pollen, pet dander, etc.) I actually have “non-allergenic rhinitis”. Dr. Bhutani also ordered a CAT scan which showed a trouble spot that could be the source of sinus infections. He referred me to Dr. Bednarksi, a sinus surgeon. My experience with Dr. Bhutani was that he was open, friendly, very professional, listened carefully, and had a good understanding of what I had been going through. He is the only doctor who treated me that asked the right questions, performed the right tests, and had the right experience to identify the real problems and start treating them correctly. I recommend him highly.
