I went to Dr. Frucht for Tardive Dyskinesia (lingual repetitive motion disorder). After spending some time with his assistant, Dr. Frucht joined us. He read over the notes, asked questions, and then did quite a few 'tests' - not only of my mouth, tongue and jaw, but also other things to make sure my condition was not spreading. I liked and trusted him almost from the moment we began talking. We had a long discussion, during which he listened and responded, and also explained things in terms I could understand. When I left, I felt that I had been both seen and heard, and that he really knew his stuff, and did everything he could to assure me (though no doctor can promise) a positive outcome. He gave me hope, which is worth more than almost anything else.
