I had my knee replaced and I told him beforehand that I'd been taking strong opioids (prescription) and might need something stronger due to the chronicity of my pain. I've had other anesthesiologist ignore it and I had to endure agony in the recovery room. Dr. Johnson stuck with me and made sure my recovery pain was adequate.
