Patient Reviews
Mar 08, 2024
I 1st saw Dr Aviles in 2014 because I was diagnosed with rotator cuff tear. After viewing my MRI Dr Aviles recommended physical therapy due to cuff tear was very minimal and thought I may benefit from therapy over having to jump right in to surgery. He was correct, I began physical therapy and even took up some yoga stretching. It helped me a ton. I appreciate Dr Avelis not rushing right the gun to do surgery over trying a more natural healing. Well here I am 10 years later and I now have to get the surgery, mostly due to age. However... after Dr Aviles viewed my new MRI He said I'm an original specimen haha because my rotator tear has not progressed to extreme damage, yes surgery will have to be done to fix the issue but not so radical that I'm gonna be jammed up for a huge amount of time. He was very professional in explaining the process and putting me at ease. Im not a fool I do my research also.
