I am going to miss Dr. Tidik; I believe he retired last year. I first met him in 2000, when I needed to have my gall bladder removed. I had just returned to SLO, and everyone said he was "just as good as the Hayashi brothers". That's all I needed to hear! It was true. Twenty years later. he built my fistula for dialysis treatment. Both surgeries, and their pre- and post-op visits went swimmingly. He was the best surgeon, is the best, and SLO will sorely miss him and his great talent. (I actually woke-up under anaesthesia during the first operation, before he cut, of course, and everyone in the room seemed to JUMP, but Dr. Tidik remained sooo calm, and just talked me back under.) I miss you already Dr. Tidik! Thank you for always being so Direct! and convincing me to quit smoking and lose a massive amount of weight. Whew! Happy retirement to you, Sir!
