  • Dr Bischoff received his MD from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY, and completed a residency in psychiatry at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. As a senior resident supervising medical school students, he received the &ldquoOutstanding Teacher Award&rdquo from first-year psychiatry residents. A board certified general psychiatrist, Dr Bischoff was previously at Jersey City Medical Center, where he focused on the evaluation and treatment of adult psychiatric patients, including those in the addiction program. Prior to that, Dr Bischoff was an inpatient psychiatrist with the VA New Jersey Health Care System.
