I followed up with Dr. Ruffin and he was knowledgeable about the treatment I was provided previously. I was clueless about using the STIMs unit, so I asked him to help me figure out how to use it correctly. Before I left the office, he made sure that I was able to use the device and understood my treatment plan going forward.

He completed his Sports Medicine fellowship in 2014 at the renowned American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. He is a Georgia native and graduated from The Marist School before graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. He attended the Medical College of Georgia for medical school and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University.
