Dr W is the consummate doctor and surgeon. From the very first meeting, he explained my condition, reviewed options and we agreed that surgery was the most viable recovery for me. At the hospital before surgery, he was reassuring and explained again what he was going to do. After surgery, he was there to make sure I was ok. This may be his “job” as a doctor but it’s his bedside manner that makes him stand out from the crowd. Spinal surgery is not for the faint of heart and he was patient and compassionate thru my myriad of questions and concerns. I have already recommended him to 4 friends and will continue to do so for anyone who needs a spinal consultation. We are fortunate to have such a talented surgeon who cares so deeply about providing the best options under the most stressful time. I am 12 weeks out from surgery- feeling great! Thank you Dr. W. You’ve made it possible for me to go back (not just yet??) to the things I love to do! ??????
