About Me
Care Philosophy
- Dr. Shekeab Jauhari is the Associate Director of Drug Development for Florida Cancer Specialists. He attended Johns Hopkins University for his undergraduate studies and completed medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Jauhari then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, followed by fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Duke University in Durham, NC. His numerous academic honors include the Conquer Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award and attending the American Society of Hematology Clinical Research Training Institute. During his fellowship, Dr. Jauhari was closely involved in the design and conduct of clinical trials for patients with solid organ and blood cancers. He is the author of many publications pertinent to aggressive blood cancers and immune-based cancer treatments. Dr. Jauhari leads phase I clinical trials in the Drug Development Unit in Lake Mary, FL. He is passionate about providing new cancer treatment options to patients and closely supporting them in their individual journeys. Dr. Jauhari is a Florida native. In his spare time, he enjoys reading non-fiction, traveling, and spending time with his friends, family and children.
