Care Philosophy
- I am very passionate about all forms of psychotherapy (individual, family, and group therapy) and integrating them into the practice of psychiatry. I am also committed to our Psychiatry clinic being a vanguard in promoting diversity and inclusion in our healthcare system. Often in medicine, the focus is on the treatment of a specific disease and the person experiencing it is forgotten. I chose to become a physician because I want to treat people, not just the condition that ails them. My philosophy of care is to first listen and try to understand each person’s unique physiology, psychology, and social experience.
