Dr Thys and all of his staff were so kind upon my first appointment. I felt as though he was listening to my concerns, offering options and allowing ME to have a chance to be a part of my treatment plan. He asked questions that I believed to have no relevance at the time but once I thought about it later, I realized how important those questions truly were in his ability to understand me as a single patient, on a personal level. I am not just another patient, I feel like he cared enough to focus on my best options. He clearly explained all possible side effects of the new medication and set an appointment for 1 month but said very strongly, “if you experience anything negative, any side effects or have any questions, I want you to call right away. Do not put up with anything that makes you uncomfortable just because you think you have to wait for your next appt.” I’m simply thrilled to have FINALLY found a Dr who makes me feel there is possibility of getting back to being me again
