My professional experience ranges from inpatient hospital settings to outpatient psychotherapy, working with individuals across their lifespan. My areas of therapeutic interest and expertise include substance use and other addictive behaviors, anxiety,depression and other mood disorders, adjustment issues, stress management, couples and family work,spiritual growth, and eating disorders. I practice primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral and purpose driven Existential model. I strive to provide a therapeutic experience that will be beneficial for clients by providing a unique experience for all to promote individual growth. Often times we have a tendency to engage in self-defeating thought processes that contribute to intrapersonal and interpersonal issues. The idea that we all have purpose and can develop skills to cope with the challenges of life is powerful and possible.
