Wow…I almost take it personal when I read a bad review on Dr. Sarah Book. She has always given me the time needed, always been patient with me, and she speaks with honesty. I don’t want to be humored. Dr. Book has been very engaged in research medicine as well.She is very knowledgeable on medications. She in not however going to sit their and have a patient dictate the terms of the appointment & she’s not just going to write any prescription you want. If you want a very educated doctor with great knowledge of pharmacology, addiction medicine, Dual-Diagnosis etc and one who is very upfront and honest, yet kind and genuinely determining the best possible treatment for her patients, well..you’re very lucky if you can get her. Don’t go to her if you’re just looking for a Dr. to write the scripts you want. I urge you to research her a bit. See her accomplishments. Particularly in addiction medicine. She’s amongst the best. Just don’t waste her time. If you seek genuine care-see Dr. Book
