Dr. Poore saw my daughter for a breast reduction. He was caring and patient and answered all of our consultation questions when considering surgery. On the day of surgery, he did skilled, careful marking of the incisions he would make--being careful to make each side equal. After surgery was done, he explained the procedure done, how she was doing, and the use of new plastic surgical bridge clips to decrease pressure on the suture line and help prevent scarring. I was surprised to hear the the amount of reduction in each breast was very nearly equal--something that requires a steady hand and a meticulous eye. As soon as I saw my daughter in the recovery unit, I could tell right away that she would be happy with the results--no more back, shoulder, or chest pain! As a nurse who has worked at the same hospital for 45 years, and has worked with many surgeons (not at UW Health, BTW), I can very highly recommend Dr. Poore as a plastic surgeon.
